Just got my new drive

I just got my new 750GB hard drive today that will be replacing the 500GB at home currently used for Time Machine. Once I have a good new backup with Time Machine I'll set up CrashPlan to use the 500GB and start seeing how that works plus have a good off site backup, which is always a good thing.

Revisiting CrashPlan

I'll be revisiting my CrashPlan system again.  I never finished reviewing it before because nobody I spoke with around me would get excited about it.  They have a couple new features that I really like.  Firstly for initial backup it should be really quick because they now support doing your initial full backup locally to a USB hard drive.  I ordered one so I will be doing that when it arrives and then taking the USB drive off-site then setting up the WAN backup to it.  I'll create a new post when that happens.  New Egg usually ships pretty quick so I'm guessing mid next week.
